I really should have gotten my clothes picked out and ironed last night. That was the first thing that went wrong with the day. After I got that accomplished I was going to hurry through getting ready. But that didn't happen. I realized after my bath, I was missing the monitor and spent 30 minutes looking for it. It had fallen through the head board of my bed. I didn't see the charging wire because it too had fallen. I quickly washed up and got dressed, but at 6:58 I hadn't taken my pills. I had to lug that box to work with me. I hid it in a back pack because frankly, the amount of pills I take is embarrassing.
When I got to work, I realized that I had left my badge in my car, for which my carpool buddy teased me. I asked for a temporary one at the security gate, but when the guard pulled up my profile it said that I was an inactive employee. I was a bit worried that they had fired me and hadn't told me yet. Natalie was at her desk to come convince the security guard that I was really an employee. Turns out that my employment status had been erroneously coded as being on disability since the first of the year.
Around 9:00 Laura from Dr. R's office called to tell me that my lab report was in and that once again I am dangerously low on sodium. She said to come in to repeat the blood work and talk to Dr. R's associate about a different blood pressure medication. Dr. R and I talked about why he didn't want to use a different medication when we were discussing the hychlorthiazide. I didn't expect Dr. F to understand the decision because she doesn't know me. I made the appointment for tomorrow with reservation and immediately regretted it. I called to talk to my nephrologist, Dr. Cn's nurse about it and make an appointment with him, but was told that Dr Cn is currently on vacation too. I left a message for Rochelle. She didn't call me back until 4:45 so I wasn't able to break the appointment with Dr F. I should have just taken this whole situation to Dr. Cn in the first place. So tomorrow I have a wasted appointment with Dr. F, a lab appointment for Dr. Cn and an appointment with my gynecologist. I will see Dr. Cn on the 16th.
I can't begin to tell you how frustrated I am with this. I would really like an explanation to why I can lose weight and exercise regularly and my blood pressure won't be controlled. Seems like a whole lot of work for no ROI.
